What Lifty does
Pick two points on the map and Lifty gives you the lifts and pistes to take, turn by turn, keeping to the hardest difficulty you choose.
It records your ski days (runs, lifts, distance and the pistes you've collected) and shows snow, weather and conditions for each resort.
Once a resort is downloaded, its map and routing work with no signal.
You don't need an account. Sign in only if you want your ski days backed up.
Common questions
Why does it say no route was found?
Usually one of three things: your maximum difficulty leaves no way there, a lift or piste on the way is closed, or one of the points is away from the lifts and pistes. Raise your maximum difficulty, or move the point onto or next to a piste.
How do I use it with no signal?
Download the resort once, on Wi-Fi: open the resort and turn on Available offline. A resort takes tens of megabytes; the app shows the exact size. After that the map and routing work with no signal. Forecasts and lift status update when you're back online.
How do I record a ski day?
Start recording in the app when you start skiing and stop it when you're done. Lifty uses your location only while you navigate or record. It asks for “While Using the App”, never “Always”. While you record, your iPhone shows the location indicator and Android shows a notification.
Where does my Apple Health or Health Connect data go?
Heart rate and energy that you let Lifty read stay on your phone and watch. They're only stored on our servers if you sign in and turn on heart-rate backup in Settings → Account, which is off by default. Turn it off and it's deleted from your backup. Health data is never used for ads or to improve the map, and never sold.
How do I delete my account?
